Project Overview
About the change of light and shadow 24 hours a day
My Contributions
Woke up at five o'clock in the morning and could still feel the cold air after going out. It was the first time to observe the sky so carefully, observe the sun and the surrounding things. When the first rays of the morning came out, everything the sun touched shone with gold. As time went on, the appearance of the sun warmed the surrounding air.
This project needs to shoot the changes of light and shadow at a fixed point in time. Time slots are sunrise, 8am, 10am, 2pm, 4pm, sunset, twilight and nighttime. Try to look for changes in light and things around you at different times.
24 hour light sequence
Sunrise

Closing your eyes isn’t going to change anything.
Nothing’s going to disappear just because you
can’t see what’s going on....Keep your eyes wide open.
Only a coward closes his eyes.

8am

“I really like you, Midori. A lot.”
“How much is a lot?”
“Like a spring bear,” I said.
“A spring bear?” Midori looked up again.
“What’s that all about? A spring bear.”
“You’re walking through a field all by yourself one
day in spring, and this sweet little bear
cub with velvet fur and shiny little eyes
comes walking along. And he says to you,
“Hi, there, little lady. Want to tumble with me?’
So you and the bear cub spend the whole day in
each other’ sarms, tumbling down this
clover-covered hill. Nice, huh?”
“Yeah. Really nice.”
“That’s how much I like you.”

You can hide memories, but you can't erase the history that produced them.

Haruki Murakami Colorless TsukuruTazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage

Not just beautiful, though--the stars are like the
trees in the forest, alive and breathing.
And they're watching me.

Nighttime

Nobody likes being alone that much. I don't go
